A while back, I asked:
So, is it the policy of ATF to repeat anti-gun misinformation in the press in an effort to expand gun control?
I think it may be the case with other police agencies as well. In a piece on weapons that look like assault weapons, comes this:
“You just pull a trigger and 20 or 30 rounds come in a second and in those 20 rounds you’re sure to hit your intended target and some innocent bystanders, totally unlike a firearm that is just one bullet every time you pull the trigger,” Miami Police spokesman Willie Moreno said.
Despite the implication, the assault weapons ban did not cover machine guns.

“You just pull a trigger and 20 or 30 rounds come in a second and in those 20 rounds you’re sure to hit your intended target and some innocent bystanders,”
So Willie Moreno, how about telling us what HAND CARRIED weapons that are available to ANYBODY have a rate of fire of 1200 to 1800 rounds a minute? Or didnt the little voices in your head go into that much detail?
This makes me wonder how “knowledgeable” you are about the laws you’re supposed to enforce.

“…you’re sure to hit your intended target…”
Wow, if this guy knows of some magic technology that gets a guaranteed hit every time you pull the trigger, he’s a billionaire in the making– a national treasure in possession of secrets that need to be classified top secret.
