Spooky
It seems everyone is eulogizing the conservative side of the Republican party.
Relax, guys, the conservative wing has been dead since Pappy Bush. Oh sure, a little life was breathed into them in the house when Clinton was in power but that was just a marketing gimmick that was abandoned once they ran the show.
Though what is odd to me is that from 1988 to the present, two families have occupied the white house. If Hillary wins, that could mean, assuming reelection, 28 years of the executive branch controlled by two families. We have our own royal families!

I’ve been saying that for years re: a Hillary win. Three decades of two families sitting in the White House is NOT what the founders envisioned.

Vote Jeb in 2016! The Dynasty continues. After that, Chelsea will be ready.

The last two families that needed to be in the White House.
Another reason Perot should have a spot in Hell. But you can never underestimate the stupidity of the American electorate.
Speaking of idiots, we haven’t seen the third party candidates yet.

I’m voting for the Standing in the Back Dressed Stupidly and Looking Stupid Party. Couldn’t possibly be any more meaningless than a vote for anyone else in this election.

Oh, come on! What’s wrong with carrying on the family business? If you can keep your customers.

Don’t forget about Jeb!
January 23rd, 2008 at 3:00 pm
If that happens, then maybe we should be eulogizing the Republic instead of the Republican Party.

I’d gladly take another 10 years of Jeb over that tree-hugging, socialist mockery of a conservative, Charlie Christ.

#9:
I’m pretty sure Perot’s supporters split pretty evenly between Bush and Clinton if Perot weren’t there, so he wasn’t quite the spoiler people tend to say he was.
Uncle:
I’m not so sure the “conservative” wing has been dead; it’s just that people have vastly different ideas of what “conservative” is supposed to mean, and each group tries to claim that mantle (mantel?) for itself.

The conservatives have not moved, but the Republican Party has.
I’m thinking Jenna in ’20.

Jeb? Chelsea?
Pffft. Human cloning will be perfected by 2016. The 22nd amendment don’t say nuthin bout no clones.

Thanks Les, I won’t sleep tonight.
5000 years of Bill Clinton clones. Like a bad Futurama episode.

I’m voting for Obama. At least I know where he stand on guns compared to Mitt or Julie.

I knew when we spent a trillion dollars (that we didn’t have) looking for a guy in a cave that is basically guarded by a few goatherders that the conservative wing was gone. let alone that we didn’t find him and we need to spend another trillion now. I realize this is an oversimplification but you get the idea. our national debt is going to pop one day and our kids are more or less screwed. maybe us.

That’s one of the reasons I want Hillary to win the nomination. “Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton” has a certain ring to it, and not the kind that would convince any fence-sitters to vote “yes.” Also, it’s worth noting that 28 is a conservative estimate, as it ignores the fact that Bush I was V.P. for the eight years that preceded that.
