HK Rumor
In other news, in an announcement to be made at SHOT ‘08, HK will very likely be purchased by Cerebus (sic), the holdings company that is notably the recent purchaser of Remington, DPMS, Cobb, Bushmaster, Marlin and your mom. Heard it here first.
So, maybe Cerberus will end HK’s trend of shitting on the civilian market?

Didn’t they just buy Chrysler too? I think an HK should be standard equipment on any car sold in the Detroit area.

Maybe HK will start selling guns that have some relationship between the quality and the cost.

Please tell me this Cerebus (sp?) holding company isn’t some kind of front for George Soros to buy up arms firms and then shut them down?

Eric, while that would be possible, I don’t think probable. What I fear more are monolithic companies that make it impossible to purchase a firearm based on their commitment to the 2nd Amendment.
STI and Barrett are two manufacturers who told California to piss off, and if I ever get the cash, I’m purchasing some of their wares. But if all the companies are actually just two or three, they can tell us to pound sand and force microstamping and whatnot upon the populace.
