I liken the Glock vs 1911 issue to the Yankees vs Red Sox. You can’t like both. I personally can’t stand Glocks but can appreciate their reliability. For me it’s always been 1911s (until I discovered the Makarov and bought an arsenal worth of them. Great little kommie pea-shooters!) I have small hands so the bulkiness of the Glock just isn’t comfortable to me. I also don’t like shooting anything that feels like tupperware. I need the feel of steel!

To each their own I guess.

I like both. I just prefer Glocks. I do hate baseball, though. 😉

My feelings precisely.

I don’t have a Glock, but I do own a 1911 and another polymer pistol, the Springfield Armory XD in .45acp.
My 1911 is the Taurus. Worked just fine when I bought Chip McCormick mags. The trigger pull is pretty damned fantastic.
