Unpossible Round Up
In Tennessee, an O’Charley’s was robbed and an assistant manager was fatally shot while complying with the robber. It’s a good thing Tennessee law prohibits the carrying of weapons where alcohol is sold for on-sight consumption or someone might have gotten killed.
In Japan, shooting deaths are on the rise. We all know that is unpossible because Japan has strict gun controls.
Update: Another shooting in a gun free zone.

Japan ‘s sum total rose… to 66 for the year. That is a fantastically low level, as a result of many cultural and legal factors.
As a pro-gun fellow, I would not use Japan as a talking point at all, unless their murder/shooting rate rises for several years.

They have something like a 99% conviction rate for all crimes. I don’t think anti-gunners can really hold Japan up as a model, either.

Hey Unc I got one more for you: http://www.ksdk.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=139898
I’m in STL on business and this is on EVERY CHANNEL. Guy walks into a city council meeting and shoots the mayor, everyone on the city council, the public works director, and 2 police officers. Details are sketchy as this happened about 2 hours ago, but apparently one of the officers returned fire and fatally wounded the gunman.
Both officers were killed, no further casualty info
