I’m impressed
GOA filed a Heller brief. Surprisingly, it does not consist of saying SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!!!!!! over and over.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

Reading their releases just makes me cringe. They don’t even pretend to be professional.

My impression is that Gura basically assigned groups that wanted to file certain topics. I’m sure there was some effort made to keep kookiness out of the filings. It looks like GOA didn’t use their own legal team, but hired out. William J. Olson P.C., to be exact. Looks like these guys do a lot of hard right conservative type work. Lead attorney was once the VP candidate for the Constitution Party, and worked with Roy Moore to draft the Constitution Restoration Act, which acknowledged God as the sovereign, and provided for impeachment of federal judges who ruled otherwise.
Nonetheless, this is a serious brief from what I’ve read so far. GOA should be commended for doing something useful for once.

That’s very interesting considering a Walter J. Olsen is the treasurer of their political action committee.

I don’t know, Alcibiades. I think I saw better websites in 1996…

I had’nt noticed, and would’nt care if it did. What counts on a website is it’s content and ease of navigating through it. They’re suppossed to be informative, not entertaining. I feel sorry for anyone who thinks eye candy is a must on a website.

I disagree. If your website looks as if it were put together by someone’s 15 year old, it’s hard to take that organization seriously. While a site doesn’t need to be super slick and filled with extraneous gadgets and widgets, it should be clean, professional and organized.
GOA’s site is amatuer at best.

NRA’s website has a sleek modern look, but it sucks too.
