I don’t get a choice this time, do I? I want to break the abusive relationship with the GOP, but Obama? I agree that Hillary is power hungry and easily stoppable in office, but Obama is an empty suit socialist to the core.
McCain barely stands a chance against him as it is. And I’d prefer to see McCain in office over Obama any day. Me not voting for him practically guarantees Obama in office. And I’m not sure I can see that without getting sick.
Based on the choices originally presented, yes. Then again, he may have ranked a little lower if I had given equal consideration to every individual who threw his hat in the ring, rather than only to the four who ever seemed to have a chance of winning. Duncan Hunter probably would have edged him out, in that case.
Once again, I’m not going to vote for someone, I’m voting against someone.
I have no doubt that Obama would be worse on every issue than McCain. He’s from the most GFW part of the country. He’s all about leaving Iraq damn-the-consequences (any politician who wants to do something regardless of the consequences is too stupid to get my vote), and I just know taxes will go up — just in time for me to get out of college and get a real job.
I still don’t really trust McCain. But better him than any of the Dems.
I miss Thompson. I wish his campaign had taken off instead of Huckabee.
Well, if you are actually qualified and intelligent enough to run the country, I guarantee you some private company has already hired you and paid you a much better salary.
That would be Romney. He made a lot more money working in the private sector than he spent running for President. Add to that what he would have had to continue to spend if he had stayed in the race and won, and the President’s salary doesn’t seem so lucrative after all.

McCain is my second choice, so I guess I’m okay.

Duncan Hunter
Fred Thompson
Mitt Romney
John McCain
Yep that makes four….of course that’s just going in the order that they dropped out rather than an actual ranking. More “Shit…well who’s left?”

Same here. What ever happened to being able to vote for who you thought was the best choice instead of who’s the lesser evil?

He never runs.

Less assassination attempts too.

McCain was my throurth choice. I mean, throurth is a word, isn’t it? I just don’t where it fits in with the other numbers. Maybe nowhere.
