Absolutely, off the deep end insane. Everything about it. The poor kid was charged with a fourth degree felony “concealed carry” violation for having guns in his Jeep. IN the U.S.A..
When I was in high school, several kids had hunting rifles visible in the gun racks of their vehicles in the school parking lot. No one ever said a word about it and it was never a problem. ‘Course, we wore full-sized Buck and Old Timer knives in belt sheaths too. Sure, kids got in fights and such, and some really hated each other, but I don’t think it ever crossed anyone’s mind to stab or shoot anyone.
The MC story is a very good demonstration of the pathological nature of group-think and mass hysteria. None of the “actions”or stop a crime, yet we have to sacrifice this poor kid on the alter of political correctness, so people can feeeeeeel better.
Never mind the Second Amendment or the air-tight reasoning behind it– it’s not even mentioned. It’s not even an issue.
Now lets all join hands, drink the Kool-Aid, and take a trip up to the Mothership.

“The student didn’t commit a crime, but was removed from campus, authorities said”
If he didnt commit a crime then why was he removed from the campus? If I was in this guy’s place I’d find another college to attend.

That, folks, is the generation of sheep we are raising.

Sheep are much more courageous, Jay. And sometimes they just lie down and die for no other reason than they are sheep.
