A must read
Over at the Mad Rocket Scientist comes …And I Carry Concealed:
As a person who carries concealed, I have accepted an enormous responsibility to myself, my family, and to my community at large. I bear the responsibility to be aware, at all times, of my surroundings and of myself. I’m saying thanks to anyone who gets this around. Maybe if more fence sitters see such a statement, they’ll be more comfortable with CCW.
I plan to inject it into any CCW discussion I see online where folks are screaming about shoot-outs, which is why I gave permission for any and all to use it (in the hopes that they’ll do the same).

I like the way Nuge says iit, too:
“To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic.”
–Ted Nugent
