Only the ones who are passed by their professors are. The intelligent students are flunked out or sent for psychiatric examination (indoctrination and re-education).
One of my heroes in the law was Robert Jackson, who didn’t attend college, never spent a day in law school, yet passed the bar, was a New York Attorney General, became a Supreme Court justice and took a hiatus from that position to prosecute Nazis at the Nuremburg War Crimes Trials.
Does anybody think any of today’s law school graduates could match that level of achievment strictly on their own merits? I don’t.
