That’s what Hillary says she brings and why she’s more qualified than Obama. So, she has five years more experience in the Senate. Where’s the rest of her experience? Oh, that’s right, married to the president. She’s counting that. By that rationale, Mrs. Uncle is an experienced financial professional. In fact, you should call her if you’re in need of a CFO. And I’m an experienced social worker!
The Second Amendment * says that states may enlist citizens for a trained militia [army] and provide and train them with weapons.
Well, at least they’re more clear than Saul Cornell.
Nothing to say about Crusader of the Year, Elliot Spitzer, getting pinched for patronizing prostitutes. Just wanted to use that title.
I wonder how many folks his office prosecuted for prostitution?
Update: And if you don’t know what I’m talking about, AC has the round up, complete with dutiful wife standing beside her man.
Update 2: Insty’s readers allege a game of Name That Party. But in comments at AC’s, SoBeale says:
You know he’s a Democrat because the sex scandal is hetero, not gay.
Heh.
Except, you know, the former governor of Spitzer’s neighbor state.
Scott Bach: Buy it yesterday, ban it today, get 10 years tomorrow.
If you think that’s bad, wait until their smart gun law goes into effect.
Its’ getting close. Lots of news regarding the bash.
First up, the NRA is offering Grassroots Workshop:

The Workshop will feature several guest speakers, including NRA officers and NRA-ILA staff.
Sign up information is here. I will be in attendance. And somebody you know lost the coin flip err will be speaking there.
Also, there will be a Happy Hour with Michael Bane at Bass Pro. Michael has a blog and is a writer and host for the Outdoor Channel; he also does online video at Down Range TV.
See you there.
Now, it reads like an anti-gun group. Bitter and Michale Bane talk about it.
Update: Maybe not.
Did you know Paul Helmke of the Brady Campaign To Prevent Gun Ownership is not anti-gun?
First, Saul Cornell. Now, some guy named Nathan Kozuskanich proves he can’t read. I’d address it but everyone else already did.
Clayton Cramer takes it on here and here.
Sebastian questions the questioner whose questioning something that cannot be questioned.
A bill filed in the House would keep Kentuckians from posting anonymous comments to Web sites.
House Bill 775, filed Tuesday by Rep. Tim Couch, R-Hyden, would require anyone who contributes to a Web site to register a real name, address and e-mail address with that Web site. The person’s full name then would be used whenever he or she posted a comment.
Web site operators who violate the disclosure law would be fined $500 for a first offense and $1,000 for each subsequent offense.
Here’s the bill. I found this interesting:
Couch readily acknowledged on Wednesday that his bill
violates his oath of officeraises First Amendment issues regarding free speech, so he won’t be pushing it. But he wanted to call attention to the phenomenon of unkind and often untrue comments about people being posted online by Kentuckians hiding behind the cloak of anonymity.
Oh Nos! They’re saying bad things about me on the internet. This bill should make them stop.
Tim Couch is an asshat.
Hmm, seems drawing attention to it didn’t work since I just called him an asshat.
Got a pair of Crocs Mammoth. They are awesome. Comfy and keep my feet toasty. Highly recommended.
At GBR2, Sebastian said of Joe Huffman: I’m glad he’s one of the good guys.
Things like this are why.
Jeff wonders why weapons that look like assault weapons seem to have gone up in price. Speculation is that, of course, it’s an election year. I think it’s less complex than that. Two factors: 1) one of the most popular rifles right now now is the AR-15. They’re trendy. 2) After the expiration of the ban on weapons that look like assault weapons, the market was flooded. Everyone ramped up and cranked out mags and things with bayonet lugs. Now, production is leveling off.
Supply meets demand.
Update: In comments, Blounttruth reminds me that stuff isn’t getting more expensive. Money’s just getting cheaper. Yeah, that too.
Another media outlets laments that there’s no push for gun control after the recent spate of shootings. Seems to be a trend.
A federal judge on Friday sentenced a former assistant prosecutor from northern Michigan to more than five years in prison for abusing his office to purchase for his personal use machine guns and silencers the public can’t buy.
Too bad he wasn’t a state trooper in Illinois.
The early start to getting my yard ready for Spring is why there’s been no bloggy. And I probably haven’t read your email yet.
Neat:
Update: Ya know, 1911ity just isn’t as cool as Glockity. Glock wins again!
What, they didn’t go with a .50?
Up next, VPC to crap pants over 338 Lapua Magnum.
New Battlestar Galactica starts April 4th!
