I saw that Aim ad month or so ago and told my friendly local FFL to get on the phone. After I kicked him the third time, He finally picked up the phone. It arrived a week ago. (Aim was apparently swamped with orders and took longer than normal to ship out).
My Wife has apparently claimed it. She says the slide is easier to operate than the other semi-auto’s in the inventory. (To me, the slide is no lighter or heavier to operate than the others. But if she’s comfortable. that’s all that matters.)
This one has a 05/80 date stamp, arrived in the original Sig box with two 8 round mags and a well worn leather holster. The blueing (bluing? parkerization? whatever) is worn on the top of the slide but you have to look close to see it. OTOH, it might make a Duracoat project.
There are also some blemishes on the front edge of the grip (Ring marks?). A friend mused with current gold prices I might be able to scavenge enough gold flakes to buy a box of WWB!
Took it to the range last weekend. The Single action trigger is sweet. The double action trigger is something you ought to pay a quarter for at an arcade. It’s REEEALLLY stiff! My friendly local Sig expert tells me the 24# spring is standard but a 18# is available which lightens up the DA trigger to a more manageable level.
With tax, license, dealer prep and options, the final sticker price came in just under $300.
It probably would do OK for CCW. Comparing to the Kahr, the Sig is about 3/8″ longer and 1/4″ taller and thicker. In fact, coming home from the range, my wife started asking questions about getting her CCW!

Sounds like a deal.
What’s the size? How would it do for ccw? Is it mid frame or full sized?
