Once more with feeling
When Barack Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt Obama isn’t reading from the script, he can really pull some boners:
So I said, well ya know, when you’re bitter, you turn to what you can count on. So people, ya know they vote about guns or they take comfort from their faith, and their family, and their community, and they get mad about illegal immigrants who are coming over to this country, or they get frustrated about how things are changing. That’s a natural response.
So, if I understand this correctly, his attempt to correct his first gaffe results in him repeating the gaffe again?

Obama sucks.

The nomination was his to lose. John Kennedy he ain’t.
Does Obama have walking around sense?
This will be the ugliest Democratic Convention in history. The only thing that could make this election more insane is a new H. Ross Perot type character to throw his or her hat in the ring.

Other than ascribing it to “bitterness”, what he said about people is quite often true: there are people who vote about guns (both sides). People do take comfort in faith, family and community. People are mad about illegal immigration and frustrated by how things are changing.
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
I’d say the man was a two faced lying bastard, but two isn’t a high enough number and I don’t have any reason to insult bastards.

That’s a little Obama tough-love right there. He won’t apologise for what he sees as true. We need to just come to terms that we’re a bunch of white, bitter, xenophobic, ignorant peckerwoods and he’s here to save our souls.

So close Obama, but it is statements like these that kill the liberal’s claim that association with left wing extreamists does not influence Obama.
I do not turn to those things because I am bitter, those are the things I actually care about (family, guns, community).
I am bitter because of Dems and Repubs that try to subvert the 2nd amendment and/or turn a blind eye to (or legitimize) illegal acts so that they can have more power.
It is not immigration itself I am against, it is that illegal part of it that I don’t like.
I think this is one of the biggest lessons for Obama, if you have opened your mouth and inserted your foot already, before you try to remove it by opening your mouth wider… you should make damn sure you are not going to end up with your foot deeper than it was before. That sort of thing can be fatal.

His bitterness is that of an inner-city gangbanger clinging to his “Nine” and worshipping at his local bitter Nation of Islam mosque, with bitter anger at Whitey for sending him to Harvard when he couldda been out selling bitter crack to his homeys instead of Yusuf Bey’s Bitter Bean-Pies.
The dude is screw-loose upstairs.

I wish stuff like this would come out after the DNC.

is “pull some boners” some kind of code for not getting “punished with a baby”?
At best Obama would make a good news anchor, able to read from the prompter, and would be excused for his bigoted views and superiority complex.

What happened to Barack Obama’s middle name Husein?
Hilliary still has all 3 of her names.

Not just repeating, expanding.

Well, no, he’s not trying to correct his gaffe, because he didn’t misspeak the first time around—he meant what he said. Even though I may not agree with what he said, I like that he’s not waffling and backpeddling the minute someone gets offended at something he’s said.
