I do so wish people wouldn’t say “neocon.” A better word would be Neo-Jacobin. That is, busy-bodies who go halfway ’round the planet to impose Parliamentary Democracy on evverbody, whether they want it or not, whether it’t good for them or not, whether it’s good for us that we do that, or not.
Y’ know, back in the first part of the 19th Century, we used to say that America was a friend of Liberty everywhere, but the guardian only of our own liberty.
