Quote of the day
From the Netherlands of all places:
Gun Control Lost; What Happened
It’s really quite simple: gun control legislation did not reduce violence. Secondly, people started actually reading the text of the second amendment of the United States Constitution. Thirdly, ‘laws allowing concealed weapons proliferated – with no ill effects.’

Anybody going to go over there and answer JadeGold?

Actually, I think it is just one guy (Mr. van der Galien) who is from the Netherlands.
Still, it’s always good to see that not everyone from the Netherlands is a moonbat.
(And if any Dutch persons happen to read this: Het is goed te zien, dat niet ieder van het Nederland een moonbat is.)

From the comments in the linked article……
…………………………………………………………………….
Jadegold says:
I’d remind you the ruling was 5-4 which indicates none of your premises are correct. The real reason is that one political party’s judicial appointments outnumbered the other political party’s appointments.
For now.
The ruling admittedly leaves unanswered a plethora of questions as to its application. Many of these questions will be answered by President Obama’s appointments.

If this comment by a rabid anti-gunner does not make you want
to pull the lever for McCain, then nothing will. Whip the republican party for their transgressions at your (and our)peril.
Inaction is sometimes more deadly than action.
Also, Jadegolds time stamp (July 1, 2008 @ 1:01 am CEST) makes it look like he is commenting from west russia, which would seem to correspond with his world view. Uncles comment, made before Jades, was made at (June 30, 2008 @ 2:39 pm CEST) . Offshore server perhaps? Glich? IP spoofer? I dunno, if its something simple I can’t see it. Anyone?
Wearing a brady bunch hairshirt must make the anti-gun crowd itchy as hell.
