Unclear on the concept of defeat
Mike has an interesting observation:
Now we are in the Post-Heller United States (feels kind of nice to say that) the “reasonable gun control folk” are offering compromises. Funny thing is, their compromises now are pretty much the same as their compromises then
Update: See.

Yep its their new strawman argument. Good to see a new lie fill the ranks with the tired and state “The NRA wants EVERYBODY to have a gun” and “This will be like Dodge City”
Now its “The Court says we can’t ban your guns, and we don’t want to ban your guns….just “Assault Weapons” “High Capacity Clips” “Sniper Rifles” and make you buy Non-toxic (ie: Not lead) non armor peircing (anything that isn’t traditional lead) encoded ammo”)
They won’t ban guns….but then they just talk about more bans.

Post Heller, it is THEY who are the slippery slope…and they don’t like it one bit.

“End gun-dealer fire sales”? Allowing a dealer being shut down to sell off inventory without requisite background checks? I have never heard of this. Anybody else?

Yes, Roland – when BATFU can’t even manufacture evidence for a case, they will intimidate a gun shop owner into surrendering his license. Allowing him to keep and sell off his remaining inventory is the incentive for him not appealing.
Look at the FFL numbers from 20 years ago vice today – they’ve been working very, very hard to eliminate licence holders, by fair means or foul.
