Oh, those white people
Even in Alabama, a solid majority don’t support your right to own a machine gun. It’s a political reality. Deal with it.
Conversely, can Heller be used to challenge sporting purposes provisions?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

The gun most “in common use” is the select fire ak 47. Isn’t it?

I saw that article this morning in the local paper.
Seems that 77% of the people that USA Polling Group did interviews with stated that they “favor outlawing the ownership…” which was strange considering the title “Alabamians keep, bear arms at twice the U.S. average”.
Per the article whites in our state own firearms at 75% while blacks are at 40% and “nearly half have permits to carry…”
I wonder just what the questions they asked were, considering I had a chat with this same group a few days ago about ‘parks and green spaces’ in our state where you could respond by answering the question on a scale of 1 to 5 if you favored or didn’t favor the question posed, not a ‘yes or no’ response as it appears they used in this survey.
Oh, just a personal observation here, Soviet and Chinese firearms may be popular here but their US variants vastly outnumber them where ever I’ve been shooting.

It doesn’t surprise me the way they are portrayed in movies.
