Blood in the streets!

Heh.
No doubt they freaked and started shooting each other. I mean, with everyone armed, you know you can’t trust anyone.
Seriously, I like to point out that there are almost always ambulance crews standing by on location at jr high and high school sporting events. For some reason, you never see them at shooting matches.
One day last winter I attended my son’s school trap shoot (yes, we have those here) and my daughter’s basketball game, in the same town. The trap shoot, as normal, had no ambulance on call, but one of the girls got injured at the basketball game and had to be taken to the hospital. Good thing there were paramedics standing by.
At a wild guess I’d have to say there were about 200 kids carrying shotguns, leaving them on open racks when not shooting, ammo left out on tables, and there were about 20,000 cartridges of 12 and 20 gauge ammo fired at flying targets that day, within blocks of the school, without a single problem other than some missed targets (in trap lingo, a “round” is 25 targets, and 25 shots, so if you say you shot 5 “rounds” it means you fired 125 times). If there’s ever been a single incident at that range since it was built in the 1940s I’ve never heard about it. If you’ve never participated in a trap shoot you are missing out on a LOT of fun, and I feel sorry for you.
Yeah, nothing is dangerous, and nothing ever hurts kids, except guns (and corporations).

Ban basketball and football. Ban the bicycle. If it can save only one life….
(vomit)
Camp Perry might not be dangerous, but I’ll wager some of the participants were in auto accidents on the way to and from the event.
Ban the wheel! All guns are transported by wheeled vehicle at some point in the delivery chain to criminals…
And on that note; my wife will be attending a funeral tomorrow, for a former student of hers. He died in a motorcycle accident last Thursday. He couldn’t have been more than 21 years old.

I’ve never been to a ball game where someone did’nt get hurt, either on the field/court or elsewhere in the immediate area. On the other hand, I’ve been to many shooting events and never saw or heard of anyone getting hurt, on the range or the immediate area.
Yup, us gun owners are sooooo irresponsible and dangerous!

Well, you and I are responsible for the crimes committed by others, don’t you know– in exactly the same way all motorists and the auto manufacturers are responsible for all the traffic violations, drunk driving, all vehicular homicides, and all car jackings. It’s a bloody crime and death smorgasbord out there in motor land– a “triangle of death” consisting of the auto makers, corrupt dealers and evil politicians, all lining one another’s pockets. Women, children, the poor and the elderly hardest hit.
Oh, and don’t forget it’s all for profit (the most evil word in the English language– the “P” word). We’re trading lives for money, right? Isn’t that one of the talking points whenever the Left has targeted an industry for destruction or nationalization? Gotta “get the money out of it”?
Sure, you should be able to have a car. You have that right, but it should be locked away so no unauthorized persons can ever get access to it, with the fuel tank emptied and the tires removed and locked in a separate area. If you’re ever convicted of a minor traffic violation you should have your motoring privileges revoked for life.
And while we’re on the subject, how many fires are started with gasoline?
