They just hate it when we’re effective. Actually, in their minds we shouldn’t have the right to lobby, or to “disrupt” their events by asking difficult questions. We’re evil and they’re good, therefore they should have power over us.
I have a question for the anti-liberty lobby; Should we allow groups to lobby against our constitutionally guaranteed rights? Should we grant such groups tax-exempt status? Should any public funds ever be allowed to go to any group that’s dedicated solely and specifically to undermining our constitution? If so, should we also fund our foreign enemies as government policy?
Lets put this another way– one you might be able to understand. There have been several infiltration efforts directed at groups like the KKK or the Arian Nations, because of their anti-freedom, un-American positions and efforts. Got a problem with that? No? Me neither. Nor would I have a problem with the FBI or anyone else infiltrating the anti-Second Amendment groups, or political offices, for exactly the same reasons.
It’s time that violating the Bill of Rights had some penalties behind it. Otherwise why have it at all? May as well shred it, flush it down the toilet and pretend it never existed.
I just had an idea while reading that article. I’m surprised they’re not using the abortion phrase ‘safe, legal & rare’ when discussing firearms. Of course the difference is they would actually follow thru with guns.
