Kos scrubbed all the lame accusations about Palin from the site. Down the memory hole! Not shocking, it’s what commies do.

I’m not a Kos Kid, but I did, for a time comment on K5 under a different name. Both sites run on Scoop. The basic premise is that anyone or almost anyone can join, write stories and then submit them to the edit queue to be voted on. The top stories go to the front page.
Again, I do avoid Kos, but I know that the K5 system can be gamed by trolls. Here’s a famous one by James A C Joyce (AC stands for anonymous coward).
So here’s the thing, someone comes up with a story and posts it on their Kos Diary that twigs a large percentage of Kos readers. The site software wraps the thing in Kos look-and-feel branding. Those readers comment, link to the story and vote it up to the front page. The fact that a short story (should I say tall tale?) would bubble to the surface says more about what their readers want to believe than official Kos commentary.
Then after this, the Kos Kontrollers come on by and kill the story. While their method certainly invokes the Streisand Effect, I can’t really compare this to editing non-persons out of the photograph (leaving just a foot).
I can and will fault Kos for allowing just anyone to write a turd and run it up the flagpole with the Kos branding, and see who swallows it hook, line and sinker, but this is a little different than going back and editing out all your catholic hatin’ posts after you score a cool blogger gig with Mr. “I cheat on my wife, but only when her cancer is in remission”.

Not shocking, it’s what commies do.
So a for-profit website decides that since the site is their own property, they will take out objectionable content posted by a user of the site (which anyone can be). Of course, no other website has ever deleted comments or anything like that.

No, lots of other websites have worked really hard to make content disappear forever.
Strange how they all seem to share the same political slant…
