Only available in 9mm? That’s about useless. Beyond any of it’s cosmetic flaws, if they aren’t going to make it available in a real caliber, why even bother manufacturing it.
If you want a .45, then get the HK45, which is basically the same thing, available with the same options. The P30 is an sort of an update of the P2000, which is availble in 9mm and .40 IIRC. They’re compact, easy to hold, shoot well, are reliable, and are way to expensive. I love HK handguns, but I can’t justify them over, say a SIG.
And no, Robb, your Glock is much uglier than this thing. The only HK I can think of uglier than a Glock is that wierd squeeze-cocked one – the P7, is it?

And I thought my Glock was ugly.

It’s a beauty. I like the fact that manufacturers are often including interchangeable backstrap inserts, now.

Urg. That looks like a USP and chainsword made babies…. only without the uber-coolness you would think would result.

Hmmm…if they shortened the slide and let the barrel stick out, then they could call it a P-38?

The HK45 followed me home from Coal Creek Armory today. 🙂
