Straws, grasping
And some desperation. Seems the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Ownership is suing to prevent the new park handgun carry rules from going into effect. David Hardy notes the Brady Camp probably doesn’t have much of a case.
Update: As usual with the Brady folks, these claims are patently false.

I just read the legal complaint and it’s pure Brady Bunch. Filled with lies distortions, and sniviling from top to bottom.
Line 41 is the real joke, it mentions how the DoI’s “reliance on certain studies was misguided”. In other words, according to the Bradys the DoI didnt use “studies” that are approved by the Bradys.
There’s a extra bonus to this repeal of the National Park carry ban though; they’ve pretty much stated that their members are no longer going to visit National Parks. 🙂

Keeping licensed CCW holders and their guns out of the parks makes less sense than keeping licensed drivers and their cars out of the parks. The drivers with their cars are much more dangerous. People and animals in the parks are far more likely to be hit by a car than a bullet, but the moonbats at the Batty Center press on regardless.
