Michael Bane sums up SHOT:
The transition to a tactical market is clearly complete…as one wag said, you couldn’t swing a dead cat on any aisle without hitting an AR or accessory.

Does this mean that revolvers and bolt action rifles with wood stocks are going to be more or less expensive? Since the supply side has had ~100 years to optimize the designs and make manufacturing process improvements, is it likely that a declining demand side will lead to price breaks?
I can own as many Mosins as I want, but a really nice rifle at a low price would be great….

I think a lot of that will depend on what happens with a potential ban. For example, while everyone is excited that they can’t sell ebrs fast enough, a lot of the manufacturers that I talked to were also very cautious, because “those orders could disappear with a stroke of the pen”. So if we see an outright ban on the black rifle, then all of a sudden we’ll see that dev money go back to the hunting markets.
