I’m coming to the opinion that Socialists / Democrats (I repeat myself) generally consider the The Government to be their religion.

I never heard of religion giving people, “a thrill going up my leg”. Maybe journalists just worship in a weird way.

‘Course that would mean they become tax exempt. ON the other hand, if we applied their current standards of “separation of church and state” I’d be OK with it. We could keep them out of pretty much everywhere.

You mean like there’s weapons of mass destruction in Iraq or that Saddam and Al-Qaeda are good buddies. If they are a religion then the religion is to suck up to how ever has power.
