Yeah, those laws prohibiting guns on schoolgrounds really work well dont they?

Please realize that the 900 or so children packing illegal guns in school are likely fictional. The number comes from a survey filled out by students, anonymously, in their schools.
I recall in 9th grade that my suburban white bread fellow students were asked to fill out a drug-use survey. The teacher told me it was optional, so I turned mine in blank. However, 99.44% of my friends suddenly outed themselves as drug-abusing sociopaths whose pharmaceutical intake would have killed Jim Morrison (if he weren’t already OD’ed on heroin). While I cannot personally vouch for each and every one of the folks who claimed to smoke dope, snort coke, shoot smack, eat crystal meth atop their Cheerios in the morning, and blend PCP with LSD for that extra kick it gives, I think most of them were lying.
We were not given a drug survey ever again.
