Quote of the Day
I haven’t been in a gun shop in a year and a half. My ballistic toolbox has been completely static, with no new acquisitions, and nothing sold off or traded. As a side effect of my lack of gun money, I’ve gotten really good with the stuff I have.

Beware the man with only one chronograph (or something like that).

I haven’t bought a gun since moving to Pennsylvania, because as Sebastian or Bitter will confirm, we have de facto gun registration. I’m not real crazy about my name and my firearm being in a registry, so I’m existing with the firearms I brought here from Indiana.

I am on the other end of this issue. A new 1911 before xmas, never fired (by me). A new pt-22 this week, never fired. New optics for the Camp-9 and the Cetme C, haven’t shot either in over a year. Now the big worry I have is if I can find repalcement ammo after I go shooting next week. I had my .45 ammo order cancled and still in the dark on the 9mm stuff.
time to set up the reloading bench again

Yeah,
I got a Glock 17, a Glock 26 (carry weapon), and a Kimber Desert Warrior. I usually shoot the G17 at the range. It’s not that I don’t have to get other guns, I would just rather buy ammo with the money and get deadly with the pistols I currently own. Besides, IDPA is this weekend. It’s hard to see me using a 9X18 Makarov and doing reloads! LOL!

It was the same for me for 5 years after my daughter was born. I thought I should change her name to Sarah Brady since I couldn’t have any more guns. Storms pass. The cool part is some of the stuff I had acquired before is worth far more now in Obama dollars.

Beware the man with only five or six guns…
