   I would be interested in seeing what they are calling “kids”. I don’t think 17 & 18 year old gang bangers should be call kids.

   The time period of 16 months is suspect, as it allows the inclusion of 2 summers, if chosen to do that. Like all other things, weather affects people’s behavior, and if you are snuggled down in your house for the winter you are less likely to be outside interrupting druggies doing their daily deals. Unless the data is broken down at least into monthly, and preferably into daily, data points, my response is that they chose enough months to get their shooting victims over the magic 500 number.

   Out of curiosity, it’d be nice to see further study and find out how many disadvantaged decedent youts were brought to that condition while in the commission of a felony or high misdemeanor? Maybe livin’ the lifestyle?

   UN-FUCKING-POSSIBLE with all that gun control and a brady state ranking at number 9. If only all states could have hundreds of public school students murdered annually. So every few months an equivalent number of children are murdered as columbine or Vtech? Please government, disarm me so that I may be defenseless.
