So’s the Jack Daniels distillery, although they server their visitors lemonade. Hypocrisy at its finest: the lion’s share of the economy of the county is based on the production of a product they prohibit to their residents.

TGirsch, is it hypocrisy or just good old fashioned stupidity? In NC, at least, dry counties like mine (mostly, cities can override) can’t prohibit their residents from enjoying any alcoholic beverage they want; all they can do is prohibit us from paying sales tax in our own county rather than someone else’s.
