I’d like to see ’em try it. Nothing would unite the Hippies and the Libertarians more than this kind of Marxist bullshit. I can imagine my left wing sister building bombs over something like this.

The last few paragraphs do say that small farmers could have a concern though. I think the hysteria is mainly over the lack of a full definition of farm.
And if you trust the government to not creep outside of the “intended” framework of a law…well…then…you’re a lost cause.

True, still, this is still in committee, and there are a lot of democrats now from farm states that will start feeling heat if this gets to over-broad. It’s worth keeping an eye on, but I wouldn’t get my BP up just yet.
