Haslam and guns again
Michael Silence has more on Mayor Haslam leaving Mayors Against Guns.
And, yes, I’ll start using Pilot Stations to fill up. They’re the only place in town that sells E85.

E85? I don’t know what it goes for in Tennessee, but here in AZ it costs more than regular unleaded, and it contains less energy, meaning you get poorer mileage using E85. So you get to pay more to drive less. Yeah, that makes sense.

It’s about the same price as regular unleaded, at least in west Knoxville. Actually, it was more expensive to purchase E85 than unleaded after the huge drop-off (i.e. return to sanity) of gas prices back from the $5/gallon bloat for a week or two.

Of course, E85 is being subsidized with your tax money, so you may as well try and get that back while you can (especially since its price is equivalent with regular unleaded here in TN).
