Personally, the increased price of ammo has been of great benefit to my reloading. It’s really gotten me motivated to get productive, for one. When 100 rounds of .45 ACP costs more than a premium bullet mold and top punch, I opt for the latter. I pay a little extra for the sizing die, but that is paid for in a few dozen reloads. I’ve probably spent $1000 on all of my reloading equipment, most of it used, and I can make everything except powder and primers. I estimate it costs me 1.4 Cents for a round of .38+P and 2.3 Cents for a round of .45 ACP.
Oh, and before anyone mentions anything silly like double charges, I go single stage all the way.
