This administration is looking at building a command economy structure, plain and simple. For the children, of course.

This could be a good thing, actually. The next time the government offers free money, people will be more wary about the strings that might be attached.
And no, I don’t buy the lame “but we were forced” excuse. The banks made their beds, let them lie in them.

It was not Obama that pushed the TARP money on the banks it was Bush II. Obama is just continuing the new tradition of abusing banks with it.

Step five is gain majority ownership in most companies by converting tarp loan money to common stock in those companies thus making it impossible for the companies to escape government control.
