Glock 17 RTF
Got the new Glock Annual in the mail the other day. They’re offering the 17 with the Rough Textured Frame, known as the fourth generation. The Firearm Blog has a pic of the fourth generation Glock. Also, I noticed that Glock’s 10mm caliber pistols (the G20 and G29) will be available in the slimmer SF models.

That’s interesting with the G29 (what I carry). I have it *because* it’s thicker. I’ve got man hands, baby. The wider grip is easier for me to grasp.
Are they simply going single stack to make that happen? Because reduced capacity would ensue, which would kind of suck.
Then again, with 10mm, you don’t need that many rounds 😉

I actually got to handle an RTF Glock this weekend…OUCH. I think it’d destroy my shirts even more than my current carry gun does and would obliterate the skin on my hands when I practice with it. Maybe it’s good for folks with callused hands or who will shoot wearing gloves, but for me, it’s out of the question.

So Wolfwood what you’re saying is that it’s more like the Glock 17 WTF? 🙂
