DOD reverses spent ammunition policy:
The U.S. Department of Defense has reversed a directive that would have prohibited U.S. ammunition retailers from purchasing used brass shell casings from the government — and at least one ammo maker credits public outcry for the change of heart.
Good.

Isn’t this story a month old? CNS is seriously slacking, and I thought Jeff would have covered it before now. Or did I miss something a new directive was issued?

My senator (Herb Kohl – D(ouchebag)) assured me that it was all Bush’s fault and it was two democrats(from Wyoming) who cleaned up the mess.
First, this was the ONLY time this idiot has ever responded to any e-mail I’ve sent. He never even sends out robo-autoresponder e-mails. A few more people than usual must have been poking him.
Second, I have a feeling this is the only time he’ll ever give a nod to anything from Wyoming, Dem or not.

It’s old news, but it’s nice to be reminded of little victories for the good guys. Although, I also heard it was all just a big misunderstanding…
“F is the lowest possible grade.”
Really? Then why are all of the states that get “F” ratings from the Brady Campaign the best ones to live in? I graduated from high school with straight D’s and I thought that must be pretty good, otherwise they wouldn’t let me gragiate… right?

Old but good news. Now they need to start selling us the old M-16s, and everything else, and stop wasting our money by destroying valuable public property.
