Like one of the posters said, you get what you pay for. Personally, I think it important to always have a bolt thats been tested and marked MP. This is not an uncommon failure especially with high round count bolts.
Yep. This is a normal AR bolt break. They usually last between 15k and 25k rounds, less if there’s full auto fire involved. Keep a spare bolt on hand and inspect yours under a strong light every time you clean.

That’s the second one I’ve seen with that failure. Fairly rare, I should think.

Don’t care how you break one, just that I have a backup one in the pistol grip.
