Having a ball

Our dog, Flash, is a rescue. We were told that he was neutered. But it looks like he’s still got one. Just one. We’re taking him today to see if it actually is a dude or some sort of tumor. Our vet thought it could have been an infection and ran some antibiotics to see if the lump went away. It didn’t.

Vet tells me that when a dog is neutered, they’re supposed to see if there are, well, actually two that dropped. If only one does, then the vet should not remove any and await the arrival of the other one. I guess the previous vet may have neglected to count first. Or, perhaps, Flash had an extra.

Anyway, it’s odd. And we’ll find out today.

Check to see if there’s a fourth. If so, he gets to first base automatically.

    Wow.

It’s bad enough that we subject our dogs to that once, but twice?

    That’s just cruel.

Seriously though, I hope all turns out well.

Actually being cut doesn’t hurt as much as being spayed. That is why the bull calves and the boar hogs get treated as they do.

When did you “rescue” him? If he was any younger that 6 months they had rushed the procedure.

Hope everything turns out fine for Flash.

Two sets? That is some dog! Must be a conservative!

  5. Rabbit Says:

    One word.

    “Neuticles.”

    Rabbit.

Was he rescued from a pawnbroker?

Have you registered your high capacity testicled assault dog? Why does anybody need a three balled dog? Dog testicles serve only one purpose, ban them. Do it for the puppies. Is you vet a licensed receiver of dog parts? How do we know you alter your dog in a manner harmful to the public? Do you a dog alterer license?

Has your dog been microstamped and serial numbered?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
