Speaking of Glocks & demand
At the GSSF, I was talking to some of the Glock guys about how their sales were up 36% over last year. Well, they told me that right now Glock is backordered over 200,000 pistols. Wow.

Well, sure. Glocks are like potato chips.
If you’ve never had a chip, you think “maybe I’ll try just one.” America has had unknown #s of people try their first glock. And now they are in line for their second or third.

Talked to a friend in Wartburg who called about CCW classes and there is around a 6 month wait in TN. Not sure if it is for background checks or the period of time needed to process all of the recent CCW graduates…

“Our backlog grew to 458,900 units and $136.3 million at the end of the first quarter of 2009, from 175,900 units and $47.8 million at the end of 2008. “
