Heh, Reminds me of the kids who lived up the street from me. Their Mom wouldn’t let them play with guns. No toy guns, no squirt guns, they had GI Joes but the guns were trashed.
We of course played with all my toys when they came over to my place. But at their place it was much more interesting.
We’d build guns out of scrap wood in their dad’s workshop. Also they taught me that a pez dispencer and a magic market made a very serviciable “Rocket Launcher”.
Oh and the older of the two brothers used to beat the hell out of whoever he didn’t like.
