Uncle, on polls I would recommend that users copy the link and paste it into their browser instead of clicking the link directly or just post the text of the url without making it hot so people have to cut/paste it. It is more work for everyone, but then the people running the poll won’t see all the referrers pointing back to the blogs… no reason to give them any more info than they need or make it easy for them to delete all the votes referred by particular blogs.
Of course, when they get thousands of referrals from a particular place (like thehighroad.us) it might send a good message.

Said the same crap when we got ours in GA approved last year. No streets running with blood. No dropped chicken wings and shootouts.

That poll sucks, because it lacks a button for “it won’t make a goddamn bit of difference either way.”

“…fellow patrons…”? Why not just patrons? It implies I’m not able to carry, intending me to feel vunerable. Is this what’s called a “push poll”? Certainly a bad design.

Oh, there is no doubt this poll was designed to skew its own outcome, but we seem to have beaten them at their own game.
