Speaking of park carry
Les Jones note what is often lost in the debate on carry in national parks: traveling on roads that just happen to go through parks. Yeah, living here at the base of the Smoky Mountains, it would be pretty tough to get around to some places with a gun in your car without breaking the law.
With the passage of this law, I’m guessing my brand of bear spray is legal. But other brands probably aren’t.

Actually the push initially from VCDL was the CCW allowed in cars and transiting on the GW Pkwy, a NP itself and RT 29 which bisects the Mannasas Battlefield NP. So this whole push came from the problem of traveling through parks while CCW so people are not trapped into becoming felons.
