supply and demand
Is the Ammo Shortage the Result of a Government Conspiracy or an NRA Marketing Campaign? The answer is no. But apparently some folks think it’s a big conspiracy by Cerberus and CFR and whatever other bogeyman you feel like adding in there.

A conspiracy NOT to sell their products?

No conspiracy, just a survivalist bubble. Last night I was thinking of picking up a couple of lanterns for use around my deck. I went to a site I’d bought from a couple of years ago. They have a few models that are now restricted to individual sales, vice by the case, due to the run on them for emergency preparedness. And these are the $50/each models not the $16/each types. They expect to be ahead of demand in July. Also, by customer demand, they now have an emergency oil lamp kit (oil and a simple lamp in a box) that seems to be doing quite well.
It appears, the good investment these days is in companies making things that make you less dependent on the government, at any level.

Note to media; JKB is part of the conspiracy. Why else would he try to make you believe otherwise? Yes it’s a conspiracy. Just keep believing that. It’s great entertainment. Really.
