That shotgun looks suspiciously unlike a shotgun. They usually calls those AK-47s so I guess it’s an improvement.

    If it had been in the hands of the perpetrator rather than the intended victim, it would have undoubtedly been a “high powered automatic assault weapon”.

    I think it was a psychological thing. It was a long gun. No denying that fact, so you can’t call it a handgun. Semi-automatic rifles are bad, are only intended to spray fire from the hip and kill as many people as possible in as short a time as possible and can’t POSSIBLY be used for defensive purposes.

    Therefore, the longarm that the shopowner used MUST have been a shotgun. Media logic dictates that it couldn’t have been anything else.
