Note to Apple
I don’t care how cheap the iPhone is. So long as my only option for service is AT&T, I’ll never get one.

I read rumors a few months ago that it could be available on Verizon next year. I don’t know if that’s true, but it would be nice. We have two AT&T phones, and the service is absolutely terrible no matter where you go. I keep the Verizon so we actually have service when we travel and because as much as I love surfing the web on Sebastian’s iPhone, I prefer a reliable network more.

I have a 1st gen iPhone and I’m getting the 3Gs, but I agree that AT&T is a huge problem for Apple. They need to get onto Verizon ASAP.

Ipod Touch + Verizon MiFi. Add Skype on the iPod if you want voice capability.

I’ve had AT&T three times in my life. Every single time, they screwed up the billing, on the order of nearly $1000 combined. They could have perfect coverage at this point, and I still wouldn’t touch them. Hell, if every other cell phone company went out of business, I just wouldn’t own one anymore.
As for the iPhone, I’d love to have one. But the fact that they don’t make one without a camera pretty much trumps the AT&T thing. It sucks having a job where I can go to jail for bringing a camera to work. Granted, it makes choosing a new cell phone pretty easy. The downside is that they only phone without a camera is always the biggest piece of crap phone.
