On your sign
A piece in the press about the restaurant carry lawsuit failing to get an injunction has an interesting image of a sign posted at the restaurant. I don’t know which restaurant that’s for but someone should inform them that their sign does not comply with Tennessee law.

That’s at one of Randy Rayburn’s places. I’m pretty sure he has conforming signs now, but those were the ones he put up right as the law was being passed.
They’re cute, but they don’t carry any weight as far as the carry permit law goes.
What it does do is allow him to press charges for trespassing.

Nope. Don’t ever tell someone that their sign doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do. In the event that you have to go in this place, you can ignore the sign. If not, then you can find another place to do business and hopefully other concealed carriers will also. Nothing speaks like the power of the dollar.

So it appears, that those who do not want guns in their businesses are afraid they might suffer economic impact if others are not forced to do the same. I fail to see their standing to seek an injunction since they’ve suffer no harm. I suppose non-alcohol serving businesses should seek an injunction against the laws permitting by-the-drink alcohol since they probably suffer economic loss due to their decision not to server alcohol?
