Fourth paragraph before suspect’s name mentioned. Hassan Shakur. My prayers are for the officers to recover and the Chief to see the light.

  2. karrde Says:

Dang…I must own two assault weapons…and no EBR’s.

  3. Johnny I Says:

I had a laugh when they showed the pistol grip shotgun on the NY CBS local news and called it a “Military-style shotgun”. Twice.

  4. Wildwood Says:

To be fair, didn’t the Germans claim that during WWI?

  5. Chris L Says:

I saw something like this on one of those “Most Shocking Video” shows this past weekend. The narrator of the show walks us through a smash and grab heist. He describes the weapon the Goon is using as an automatic assault weapon. It’s clearly a pump shotgun with a folding stock and a pistol grip. OMG!!!! They sure like the drama don’t they.

If it had been a semi-auto instead of a pump; it would have been an “assault weapon” for having the pistol grip. Stupid frigging Jersey. (If it had a magazine of voer 6 rounds it may have been illegal as well, I can’t lay my hands on the specifics right now).

Nonetheless, the Cheif of Police of Jersey City is a tool of the gun-grabbers.

Another reason why a whole shitload of dumb descends from Jersey. I feel for the families that have this douche bag as their spokesman. There is nothing positive nor constructive that is being mentioned by this tool that can deter crime nor have prevented this incident. The problem with guys like this is that they sound reasonable, but in the end provide nothing but tyranny. The people of Jersey owe us a big apology for putting shit-bags like this into any form of public office…..

The people of Jersey owe us an apology for masquerading as American humans.

  9. Ian Argent Says:

Ahem. I live in Jersey, as do a large number of non-masquerading “American humans”, including at least one guy I know who volunteered to do extra time in the Sandbox ahead of his unit’s deployment (and would have stayed over after as a civilian comms tech if the USMC had allowed him to meet his drilling obligation in Iraq). I vote against the statists whenever I can.

Sure, there’s a lot of statists in NJ. But that’s no call to insult everyone between the Delaware and the Hudson.

He didn’t just purchase it in the south, He bought it in Texas. Then, smuggled it into Mexico where it live a long life as a bandito gun. After that, it made its way to New York where his “apparent accomplice” (girlfriend) wanted him to show off and shoot at those fine boys in blue….. I’m feeling a sitcom here guys.

  11. Flea Says:

I left NJ 3 years ago and live in said “South”.

It worked out well for me.

  12. Murdoc Says:

Well, an M1 Carbine is on the list of assault weapons in Jersey, so a shotgun with a load of 00 is almost a WMD.

  13. Ian Argent Says:

Don’t get me started on the subject of crappy NJ gun laws…

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
