A trend
Phil Valentine notes that, like every other state, an odd thing happened when Tennessee passed laws allowing carry in restaurants: nothing. Even though some tried really hard to say there was an incident.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

Next session if there are bills pursuant to our RIGHT to armed self defense enumerated in Article I, Section 26 of the State Constitution, the bigotry and prejudice will still abound from those so-called liberals who don’t believe in liberty.

So much for the PSH of the Left.
It’s that same arguement that’s been parroted ad nauseum ever since Florida went to concealed carry over 20 years ago (has it really been that long??). Blood in the streets, Dodge City shootouts, wild west showdowns, cats living with dogs. . . (snark).
Has anyone (besides myself) read one of R Heinlein’s lesser-known older classics, “Beyond This Horizon”? He described it perfectly, what a well-armed society would be like. Fairly quiet & peaceful, except for the occasional gene-pool cleaning from some hot-shot idiot who thinks (only once) he’s faster then the next person.

Uncle, you liar. The streets are running with blood and you know it. It’s all mayhem and madness down there. I can sense it. If you’re smart you’ll never leave your basement.

C’mon Lyle. You damn well you are being disingenuous. His basement is full of blood runoff.
