Grassroots
Per an poll at CNN, 55% of it’s readers say town-hall protests over health care are being orchestrated by lobbyists. This tells me the average CNN reader couldn’t find his own ass with two hands and an ass map.
Meanwhile, here’s an actual craigslist ad:

I don’t do health care (I’ve been lobbying – and will take full credit for so far killing – Climate Change) but its impossible not to stumble on the astroturfed health care nuts (indeed, the enviro/climate movement has them too).
They are pretty easy to pick out, just swarms of young kids walking around from one office to another dropping off materials – mostly, as far as I can tell – in an attempt to increase the number of “hits” an office gets and inundate staffers with a variety of flyers.
Of course, if you ask them any questions about what they are “their to discuss” they don’t know the answers and indeed, rarely have an opinion (the enviro nuts lobbying healthcare are better – at least they have been indoctrinated by their college professors to be able to carry on a 5 minute rant against the evils of the corporate structure.

Going to a TEA Party? Go armed…
Going to a Town Hall meeting? Go armed…
Or, do what I do, go armed everywhere…

I want someone to explain to me why it is wrong in the first place for insurance company lobbyists to protest ObamaCare. Obama’s healthcare plan will eventually morph into a singlepayer system that will eliminate most private insurance jobs. If anybody in this country has a right to protest what Obama’s plan will do, it is the men and women whose livelihoods are about to be taken away. When the government walks into your place of business and tells you they are going to take your job away and ‘do it better’, wouldn’t you want to maybe get a little upset? That’s what is happening now, but the Left is telling the insurance companies to sit down, shut up, and take it.
Obama has framed this argument with the false premise that it is wrong for insurance companies to argue this, simply because they make money. He said he wants to the people who caused the problem to get out of the way so he can fix it. Well wait a minute, Obama. First of all, not everybody agrees with you that the problems are caused by your straw man, ‘Big, Greedy Insurance’, and second of all, the people who work in the insurance industry should have some say in their future. Sure, they stand to profit from staying in business (what a novel idea to a ‘community organizer’- making money in the private sector by providing goods and services), but they also stand to lose quite a bit if you have your way.

180 to 270 days until reimbursemet for Medicare and Medicaid is one of the primary reasons the specialty practice I worked for disbanded. Generally, private insurance reimbursement for services was 60 days or sooner.
I’m certain that it would be nothing like that if the practice were still around and was paid in unicorn farts if this came to pass. How long does it take for shit to ferment, anyway?
Regards,
Rabbit.

Ran into some of these college student aged “community organizers” today. Very well prepared and organized. Wore pink shirts and held pink signs touting real health care reform for Women from Obama. Couldn’t help but notice that the tag line on the sign included Planned Parenthood.
Old people, those who are mentally impaired and of course, the unborn and undesirable in this Country need not apply. Rings of Eugenics ala Margaret Sanger, Pol Pot and Hitler. Yeah, I know … I’m on the list now. Send my comments to the white house you snitches.

What was that about paid protesters?

If it’s wrong for anyone who makes money off a proposed law to say anything, every last blooming idiot who got elected should be quieter than Marcel Marceau. And that goes for the people who might be hired to administer the new program, too.

Oh, and the CNN viewers couldn’t find their asses with both hands, an ass map AND both hands tied behind their backs.

(chortle) Makes me almost wish I was unemployed, so I could join the lobbying left, and subvert from the inside.
Might not be able to do it but once, but it would be worth it.

What’s wrong with resistance being organized? The commie libs want to use the idea of resistance being organized to invalidate resistance, but organization does no such thing. Resistance works better when it’s organized. Ef the lef’, and ef ’em good!

Now just a minute here isn’t part of the name “ACORN” Organizers? Aren’t labor unions such as SEIU organizations?
Now they yell it is unfair that they can’t get to beat people up and/or force them to give up their liberty of choice one at a time because they are organized?
Where are all those brilliant (snark) political pundits of the MSM in not pointing these contradictions out?
August 11th, 2009 at 9:21 pm
oh yeah, I forgot their faces are smothered in shorts. Obama’s shorts.
