Standards and how to double them
A new strip club is going to open up in Nashville. The twist is that it’s going to be dudes juggling their naughty bits for women. And, I guess, maybe gay guys. Apparently, this bugs a councilman to the point where he is ill. Says the councilman:
It’s different for a man to show himself than a woman. It’s another step in the wrong direction.
And why is that? Naked women are OK and naked men aren’t? In terms of what I want to see, I do agree, which is why I won’t go to that strip club. But if some one wants to go check it out, I don’t see why it’s OK for one and not the other.

There is nothing more unnatural, degraded and demeaning than being a male prostitute. Nothing.

Not to pimp my blog, but when men don’t act like men, women have to.

My question is: how does he know that it’s different? Personal experience?

Wait until he finds out that animal fetishists can see naked animals at state-run zoos and animal shelters. They can even go to zoos and see those naked animals perform sex acts for less than minimum wage.

Naked women are OK and naked men aren’t?
That about sums it up, yes.
Women=pretty, beautiful, elegant
Dudes-hairy, farty, sweaty.
Jokes aside, legally they can do what they wish, I guess, but part of our system of gov’t is to elect leaders to incorporate our wishes & if the community doesn’t want something like that around they can find ways to make zoning difficult (definitely not near schools or churches) or, the optimum ‘solution’ is to allow it to go out of biz by…….not attending.

Perhaps he is afraid of Fatal Attraction?

“part of our system of gov’t is to elect leaders to incorporate our wishes”
You might want to give that a second think. That is a system, all right, but I wouldn’t call it “ours.”

Craddock must be very bored, or desperate for attention (or redirection).

Gigolo; that starts with “G” and that rhymes with “T” and that stands for “Trouble”
Right here in River City…

Please don’t tell me that at this late date you are shocked to discover a double standard.
A guy who is assertive, is called assertive, decisive, dynamic. A woman who is assertive is called a shrew or a bitch.
A guy who sleeps with a different beautiful woman every week is James Bond. A woman who sleeps with a different beautiful man every week is a slut or a whore.
And your surprised that politicians feels this way about strippers?

Maybe the difference is that the male sex organ is external while the female’s is mostly internal. Some bushy pubic hair (which I admit may not be the style at strip clubs) can completely hide the female sex but not the male. I’ve never been to a strip club, do they use speculums?
I suspect he is a prudish busybody who hasn’t thought too much about it but he certainly knows what he thinks is icky.

“A woman who is assertive is called a shrew or a bitch.”=Zendo Deb
That’s funny, I call mine “honey”, or “sweetheart” or “baby doll”.
