OK, think that pen gun might be worth more then $50.
Also, any bets on if the stolen gun was used in a crime? Are there any guarantees from the popo about not prosecuting the owner while the gun was missing?
That pen gun would be an AOW, which requires to be registered as such ($5 stamp). I wonder if that department will obey the laws they are so eager to enforce…
“Sawed-off shotguns are good for only one thing, and that’s a robbery,” Bergin said. “We’re more than happy to get those off the street.”
I’d be willing to bet that the local police have a few shorter than normally legal shotguns around, If nothing else I’m sure that their SWAT team has them for door breaching rounds to use when breaking into houses.
Short barreled shotguns are better for home defense because they’re handier, more maneuverable and more difficult for an intruder to take away from a homeowner. They would be very popular for home defense if they weren’t prohibitively restricted.

“Don’t see many of those”.
Oh, come on. I saw tables and tables of them at the last gun show I went to, each with convenient instructions in Spanish on how to shoot cops. 😉

Also, are the stolen gun going to be returned to their owners?
