What a ghastly example of cowardice and political correctness; If I were the Professor, I would’ve told Yale Univ. Press to take a hike and taken my manuscript to a different academic press, preferably one with a bit more backbone…sheesh…
This editorial decision of Yale Univ. Press offends me as a professional librarian and as a citizen. Ugh.
Not a book I’d be inclined to read, especially since it’s about cartoons that it’s author believes do not exist. It’s like a book about the greatness of God written by an Atheist.
